I served 20 years in the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. I was stationed at NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii from 1987 - 1994, with AIMD, and VP-1 where I did deployments to Adak, Alaska; Misawa, Japan; and Diego Garcia, BIOT. My last command was the USS Nimitz where I served two 6 month tours in the Persian Gulf.
I retired from the Navy Dec. 1, 2006 and moved back to Hawaii where I spent one year working to establish residency, and started college January of 2008.
I completed my AA December of 2010, and started working toward a BEd in Science for Secondary Education in January of 2011.
Two of my dream jobs were to be a High School Science Teacher, or a Planetarium Director.
